Two paintings on canvas, inspired by the spring water, river and ocean that we saw on our trip to Northern California a couple of years ago. We visited Orr Hot Springs, Lassen Volcanic National Park, The Redwoods and Mendocino Coast. It is an area I revisit in my mind quite often. The whole holiday was filled with a sense of ease and flow and the nature was breathtaking. The waters were a clear turquoise blue that captivated me. I am always inspired by nature and I love bringing more nature inside through these paintings. 

I am proud to say that I did everything myself; from installing the stretcher, to stretching the canvas on the frame, to preparing the canvas, to painting, to installing the wooden frame with a drill! It was so much fun and special to do all of these steps myself. I am looking forward to creating more!
